Summer Bougainvil (3D);

3D Saturday is here!
So, with my recent busy schedule and health issues, I've managed to snap few shots with my phone, and here is one of them, taken last Thursday in the yard. The green cast (from the shade) makes it hard to discern the depth, but in other areas of the image, the depth can be perceived well (at least to my own eyes).
It's nice to see few petals here and there for the bougainvillea at this time of the year in our yard. Typically, they would all be gone (along with the green) by May.

This was shot during the partial lock-down around June that year (lock-down and back to normalcy took place in August). I bought this from the supermarket near my workplace - I like that supermarket specifically for its diversity of products, and I never saw this Russian drink except there. Before sipping the drink I had a go with it with my phone. I think the depth is reasonable when viewed with the anaglyph glasses.

Clownie (3D); 2011;

I didn't shoot any anaglyphs lately, so here's something from the archives. This is what I'd call a "moving anaglyph" where the subject is moving and with the help of successive shots, I try to create an anaglyph. The depth in the image is there; maybe not the strongest, but it's there (with some focus).

Oxeye (3D);

It's 3D Saturday! And something from last week (well, more than a week actually) when I was working with my UV photography experimentation in the yard. The depth is OK, but I hoped it would be more pronounced actually. Still, you can conceive a considerable depth in the image in the leaves (more than the flower probably).

Fisheye Crane (3D); 2012;

I would've almost swear that I've shot something for 3D during this week but I can't recall what it was. Ah well, anyway... good thing I have an archive here.
It's 3D Saturday! This shot was taken with my favorite fisheye lens (Rokinon 8mm) in a trip back in 2012 to some marble factory (they prepare slabs and cuts for kitchens and such). Not sure if they all deal with marble only but this is what I've been told anyway. I think the effect in this one is decent (if you view them with proper glasses of course); typically, 3D anaglyphs from fisheye shots is somewhat hard to achieve. However, if you focus on the crane that is dangling from the roof, you should see it protruding out.

Two Maggies (3D);

3D Saturday! So, I spotted 2 "maggies" yesterday in the morning, and decided to take quick shots (at the moment they've just disappeared!). However, not wanting to struggle with the colors, I've converted everything to B&W and made the anaglyph. There is still some ghosting a bit, more on the bottom part of the image (specially the left side).

Maggie (3D):

It's 3D Saturday! I've Kept this from last week just to post it today! I think there is a bit of ghosting there but probably the effect is clearer on the lower portion of the image more than the middle and upper. I think it would have been stronger if it was converted to B&W but I didn't get to try it out.

Time for some 3D! There was a time when my breakfast was a chocolate bar and some coffee (at work).
This one here was done in HDR; a lengthy process which I stopped doing later on really (unless some dramatic effect is needed).

Borderline (3D)

It's 3D Saturday! I went back to this year, specifically to February, when I had a stroll back in winter around the block and I remembered shooting this scene several times trying to make up the composition that I think was fit. So, I thought, let me check it out maybe I can get out with something, and it didn't fail me! Get out your anaglyph glasses out! you gonna love this one!

Unrequited Love (3D);

3D Saturday! Created this one just recently when I shot my last one for the matchsticks project. I think the white background didn't serve the image and there seems to be some ghosting. You can see here, also, that the "ground" is not clean as in the original (cleaning and editing while doing 3Ds can be a headache). Nonetheless, it seems such small stuff add to the depth when viewed with the proper glasses.
This said, I might redo this shot actually in a different perspective (not sure why it didn't occur to me before!)
