Kerfuffle
Stormgate is officially released! And it has kernel-level anticheat. So screw #Stormgate, back to #Starcraft2 _0/

Enalys :dragn_verified:
Oh, hey, I realize that StarCraft II is already 15 years old, lol, time fly so fast.

I was a little dissapointed as it is more multiplayer and competition oriented than single player, contrary to it ancestor.
The campagn is still nice and fun, but not as memorable than the one of SC1, but, hey, it's still a good game, and the first part is free (same for SC:BW), so, it's easy to give it a try, and it should play on every patato PC now.

The first one was really my stuff back in the days.
Discovered it in Sept. 98, got it Christmas of the same year, had to wait Aug. 99 to get Brood-War.
I spent SO MUCH time in the campagn editor on the olds PC of my family or grandma, creating more of less (often less) good maps. It was maybe my first kick into programming as it triggers system was good enough to give life to your creations but not too complex to fry my 15 y/o brain at the time.
(StarCraft II have a way better and more powerfull campaign editor)

I don't play it as much since 2012, but I think this game stick with me as much as I was in Oct. 2021 wake up by an e-mail about someone trying to download my old shitty campaign I made 20 years ago.
I helped it get it (broken hyperlink :dragn_woozy: ) and as I kept exchanging with him I ended up helping in a StarCraft Brood-War custom campaigns archiving project. On the 385 campaigns they recover, I myself brought maybe 20~25 that I download years before and that were laying on an archive on my PC.

This game got me so hard I made a website about it that still online (https://ct.zergy.net)

Yes, I have the board game and Zerg plushies, obviously.

#VideoGames #StarCraft #StarCraft2 #MyLife

WTF is #Blizzard doing?! Apparently hackers have been exploiting #Starcraft2 to spring clips of actual mass shootings and videos designed to trigger epileptic seizures, as well as other disturbing content, on unsuspecting players for at least A YEAR!! #videogames #terrorism kotaku.com/starcraft-2-hackers
