IBBoard<p>A new error of Stack Overflow 😑</p><p>Also, there's apparently a lot of developers who I REALLY can't understand: </p><p>" 83% [of developers say] they use or plan to use AI tools in their development process this year, an increase over 2024 (76%). However, the lack of trust in AI tools also continues to rise with 46% of respondents saying they do not trust the output of AI, up significantly from 26% last year."</p><p>Even if we assume that the full 17% of non-users are in the "do not trust" group, that's still 29% of respondents using it or wanting to use it while distrusting the output! THAT'S OVER A THIRD! 🙄</p><p>Why would you do that to yourself? It's not even like there's lock-in and the product got worse and that's why there's conflicted users. It started bad, continued to be bad, and can't solve its fundamental problems.</p><p><a href="https://stackoverflow.blog/2025/07/10/a-new-era-of-stack-overflow/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">stackoverflow.blog/2025/07/10/</span><span class="invisible">a-new-era-of-stack-overflow/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/GenAI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GenAI</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/StackOverflow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StackOverflow</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/programming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>programming</span></a></p>
