New kicks! These are what running shoes looked like in the late ‘70s. Puma Easy Riders arrived in 1977, when running made its move from the track to the streets.
Game-changing at the time, they helped fuel the jogging boom of the 1970s.
Today, they’re old-school cool.

I came across the shoe brand 8 Beaufort in Hamburg today. Sounds like a genuine attempt to make more #sustainable #sneakers out of used sails and natural materials. Too bad they only have too small sizes for me. They are also quite expensive.

Whenever I see "Sneakers" I can't help but remember the anagram "COOTYS RAT SEMEN" which got a genuine laugh from me the first time I saw the film.
