An der frühgotischen Liebfrauen-Basilika in #trier haben die Arbeiten zur Sanierung des Westportals begonnen. Die #skulpturen wurden abmontiert. Über die zukünftige Gestaltung wurde viel diskutiert. Im Mittelpunkt stand dabei das Figurenpaar #ecclesia und #synagoga. Da es sich bei den jetzigen Skulpturen um Kopien aus dem 20. Jahrhundert handelt (die Originale sind, soweit erhalten, im #museum am Dom), kommen sie vielleicht nicht zurück. #medievodons #christenundjuden
