I like it a lot.Only problem is that it's only available for Apple devices which is basically a dealbreaker for people who use other operating systems. One day the dev will graduate, I hope. One day.In the meantime.. Simplenote.

Well, I didn't feel like cranking up <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/syncthing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#syncthing</a> on my phone (it normally only runs on my phone while plugged in), so instead I pasted the image using xclip, uuencoded it, copied it back to the clipboard with xclip (all in one command). I then pasted the uuencoded text data onto a new note in <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/simplenote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SimpleNote</a>, then copied it on my phone and uudecoded it in <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/termux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#termux</a>, then sent the photo via MMS.Say it with me,NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD!!!!!!

A million moving parts, and you have to wait for the stars to align (and sit exclusively on your left butt cheek while singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah") for it all to work.I just use <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/syncthing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Syncthing</a> (dead simple and foolproof) for "cloud" and <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/simplenote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Simplenote</a> (which has an excellent TUI) for plain text notes.

Though this is kindaa broken at the moment and I am unable to access it on my phone for some weird reason. I don't really know what to do about it, as it works fine on my PC. Given that many people have left the company, this does not bode well for its stability. 😒
