Big time shadowbannning over at TikTok. Nine videos, only one getting over 100 views. The same videos are getting thousands of views at YouTube fifteen minutes after uploading. Just ban TikTok already. There's nothing there to save. It is no longer a fun place for punks and weirdos.

I find the culture there a lot like small servers on Mastodon. @dec_hl I think something like an #App #curator site that allows #filtering / has said filters set by default as a "#SafeSearch" would be propably best...
- The core problem is that since there's no #affiliate program woth #Apple's #AppStore nor #GooglePlay and @EUCommission having killed competitiors to the latter like #AndroidPit #AppCenter with #VAT shite, there is no ethical way to monetize it once it exceeds the average #WebHoster's "unlimited traffic" plans...
Not to mention it'll get #downranked and #shadowbanned from both platfirms pretty quickly.

This has also made me absolutely certain that I've been #shadowbanned on exTwitter. I posted a similar notice there, and while here it has got 5 Favourites and 6 Boosts after 8 hours, over there it has had minimal interaction.
After being up for 10 hours, it had 26 impressions and 2 likes out of something over 1250 nominal followers.
A similar post on exTwitter, also asking for contact with people interested in discussing #books etc., posted by someone with a little over 500 followers (and not blue-ticked) had, after 10 hours, over 14000 views, 121 comments, 503 likes and 30 retweets.
That is pretty conclusive evidence for shadowbanning, to me at least.
Excellent, I've been shadow banned from commenting on YouTube. Yet another social network that's undergone #enshittification , along with #xitter, #linkedin, #instagram, etc.
I'm even paying #YouTube for premium every month to avoid the ads and the fuckers shadow ban my comments, FFS.
1) AIs are taking over the "search" experience.
2) AIs are expen$ive. Corporate tools with #pornocalypse designed in.
3) AI #search is vanishing #internet #porn. Online #adult stuff will still exist, but undiscoverable, unsearchable, unmonetizable, #shadowbanned everywhere. SUPER marginalized.
4) They've already showed us: to corporate #AI, porn includes #gay stuff, #trans existence, #sex education, #sexual #health, anything #queer or #kinky.

Fun fact: if a #reddit account is both NSFW-flagged and #shadowbanned then attempting to view it will first ask if you're over 18 and willing to view the adult content. When you click on yes, then it tells you the content doesn't exist.

For the curious; this is what my instagram account looks like right now. I'm afraid I don't yet know how to do this on Pixelfed (or even if it's possible (I guess it should be)), but the pictures are there aswell. Use them as you see fit -- as long as it's not in support of the genocide.
They are mostly tagged with #FightTheGenocide, so they should be rather easy to find.
The reason for using Instagram is that much of the info from Gaza is posted on Instagram. I don't use Facebook (yes, I see the irony) and I don't use tiktok.
We all do what we can, this is one of the things I can... to spread awareness.
