Settlers seize Palestinian water spring serving 30 villages, launch crowdfunding campaign
Israeli settlers have taken control of Ein Samia spring near Ramallah, which supplies water to approximately 30 Palestinian villages. They diverted the water to a nearby pool, destroyed pumping infrastructure four times in the past month, and established a crowdfunding project that has raised over 110,000 shekels for development work. The settlers renamed the area "Mayan HaRo'im" after two settlers killed in 2023, set up food stands, and plan to redirect water flow. Despite repeated attacks on water infrastructure, no arrests have been made and the #IDF has not deployed protective forces.
The Palestinian Jerusalem Water Undertaking reports that 18 villages depend entirely on this spring, with 14 others partially reliant on it, and company workers cannot access the site due to settler presence.

Israel advancing plans to increase illegal settlements
The rapid advancement of the settlement was part of a race against time to change the situation in the occupied territory by expanding existing settlements, legalising outposts, and tightening restrictions on Palestinians – denying the possibility of a Palestinian state.
The approved plans aim to build 899 new settlement units, while the submitted plans, awaiting approval, involve 586 settlement units.
How European Ministers came from "review trade ties" to "keep a close watch on Israel’s compliance with a recent agreement to improve humanitarian aid access into Gaza."???
"Member states were presented with 10 options, including:
Full suspension of the agreement.
The EU suspension of its preferential trade and/or research pillars.
An arms embargo.
Sanctions on Israeli ministers.
Halting visa-free travel for Israeli citizens to the #EU.
Banning trade with Israeli #settlements.
However, none of the options gathered the necessary support during the meeting.
Reacting to the decision, Amnesty International’s secretary general Agnès Callamard said: “The EU’s refusal to suspend its agreement with #Israel is a cruel and unlawful betrayal of the European project and vision, predicated on upholding international law and fighting authoritarian practices, of the European Union’s own rules and of the human rights of Palestinians."

Having previously entered into settlements with Washington, D.C. and Illinois, Doordash has now agreed in a settlement with NY AG Letitia James to distribute $16.8 million to its New York State employees whose tips it stole. Israeli settlement expansion
