Another day, another granddaughter & a totally different experience. Miss 7 can be quite shy & reticent & sometimes it’s like pulling teeth. She’s a lovely sweet wee girl with a big heart & definitely prefers familiar surroundings. We drove to Beechworth & had lunch, then we went to the gold shop where she spent a good 20 minutes sorting through the tray of gemstone chips to pick tiny favourites one by one to fill her wee bag.
She had a few $ from me & her Mum & Dad for the sweet shop, which also was a very considered exercise as she added up each little thing to make sure she was under her $ limit . She even picked something for her little brother. Then we did go to Woolshed Falls & after showing her where the water came over all the rocks we went around the side & she had a bit of a paddle. It was another good day & also tiring, but differently. #Granddaughter #SchoolHolidays
