today in #fedora qa:
* looked into os-autoinst builds failures on f42 and #rawhide, they seem to be caused by #opencv 4.11.0 not working right on #s390x (bigendian) - poked into that a bit and filed a bug, https://github.com/opencv/opencv/issues/26913 , tried to do some bisecting but it's hard slogging so far
* restarted varnish on the staging proxy server (fixed access to various stg sites)
* helped fix the wiki styling problem - https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/12385
* merged and tested https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/2462

"The availability of LLD on all architectures supported by Fedora removes one of the barriers that caused Fedora to have fewer packages available on s390x. It helps to reduce the maintenance burden by allowing packages to use the same linker on all architectures."

#Debian's "#hercules" package provides an emulator for IBM's z/Architecture for #mainframes. Debian also supports that architecture via the "#s390x" target. So, it's possible to emulate a mainframe and then run a Debian VM inside that emulator. I wanna try this just to see how it performs! I wonder how it would compare to direct s390x emulation with QEMU
