today in qa:
* looked into os-autoinst builds failures on f42 and , they seem to be caused by 4.11.0 not working right on (bigendian) - poked into that a bit and filed a bug, github.com/opencv/opencv/issue , tried to do some bisecting but it's hard slogging so far
* restarted varnish on the staging proxy server (fixed access to various stg sites)
* helped fix the wiki styling problem - pagure.io/fedora-infrastructur
* merged and tested pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible

We have various journeys across tracks we put together, along with a trio of badges that attendees can earn by attending a series of sessions the event. Really excited about hardware sessions, real-world AI implementation, and other client stories across key technologies on the mainframe.

Continued thread

In the broader open source community, we saw expansion of CI tests for the s390x architecture in the goid project for s390x race builds and for KubeVirt in a series of changes.

Tulio Magno Quites Machado Filho of #RedHat shared the work that went into Adding support for #s390x in LLD, the LLVM linker, which included support, CI, and binary releases 🎉 and that story is linked in the report ⬆️

"The availability of LLD on all architectures supported by Fedora removes one of the barriers that caused Fedora to have fewer packages available on s390x. It helps to reduce the maintenance burden by allowing packages to use the same linker on all architectures."

I've been watching this work unfold from the sidelines for some time, congratulations to the team for landing it all! 👏
