Lady Cecelia looked around the Botanical Garden deciding what to do next. На днях стартап Magic анонсировал новую LLM модель с контекстым окном в 100 млн. токенов как многообещающий прорыв в области разработки ПО. Во-первых из-за гигантского контекстного окна, в которое буквально можно запихнуть целиком со всеми библиотеками и документацией весь проект (10 млн. строчек кода), а во вторых из-за нового механизма внимания, который позволяет модели действительно работать со всем этим контекстом. Рассмотрим насколько это инновационно и что можно понять из анонса Magic. (Спойлер - HashHop простой и логичный механизм, но как это все работает и работает ли понять пока невозможно).

Historical question: how did people come up with the idea that the earth was flat? Why flat? Why not bagel? Why not sphere? I mean why did they hypothyse about that without evidence?
I summon all #scientists . Let's discuss why the majority of living things on Earth have two nostrils located on the face exactly at the same spot.
Here might be the issue: I think kings and queens truly believe in their divine origin.
I have a genuine #historical question: "I wonder how did kings manage to compel their servants and other people to believe that their powers were given by Gods? Why did people want to be ruled by kings? Why did they buy that scam?
