I'm coming to the end of my current notebook, a plain white A4 #Midori MD, and I've just ordered the book I'll be kicking the year off with: an A4 hardback #Rhodia WebNotebook, plain ivory pages.

I use Rhodia dotpads for my lists, and About: Blanks upcycled notebooks for my personal writing.

I'm really kinda excited to go back to the classic Webby. Rhodia/Clairfontaine paper has always been my favourite, but I've always thought the books from both ugly. They have some nice ones now though.

Time for a change! While the old one was not yet empty at all, it did no longer dispense ink at any angle. So I always had to twist the pen in my hand to find the right position. It also made me press too hard, as is evident by the impressions on the Rhodia dot grid notepad.

Why in the world doesn't #Rhodia make an orange-cover A5 dot-lined side-stapled notebook? Kinda odd.

Maybe I should splurge 5x as much for the actual book version with only 2x as many sheets? XD

My favourite notepad is super hard to find.. It seems like most stores don't have it any more and I think #rhodia might have stopped making it. Who can recommend me an A5 dotted spiralbound (to the left) notepad/notebook?

Just inked up my TWSBI I have to mark essays today so I decided to see if my fine nib will take a shimmer ink without clogging. Usually, I use broad nibs for shimmer ink but I would like to mark with shimmer ink. So far there is a faint shimmer in the ink swatch and it hasn't clogged, but I'll be writing on poor quality paper so time will tell.

今夜ふと、昔使ってた #RHODIA のブロックメモと、ちょっと良いボールペン（今のところの第一候補は #Staedtler ）を買おうと決心したんだけど、いまローカルタイムライン遡って見てたらちょうど夜の時間に近い話題が流れていて、遂に俺はデジタルデバイスすら必要とせずに己のフィジカルのみで #Vivaldi Social と接続し始めたのかと戦慄している

Somewhere along the line, I got it into my head that #Rhodia was more expensive as a "daily driver" notebook, and settled on Midoris for the purpose.

There is, in fact, not a meaningful cost difference at my rate of consumption. Rhodia's A5 spiral behaves far better inside a Travelers Notebook cover, as well.

Nothing against Midor - it's great paper. But for sheer usability and joy of writing, Rhodia is just more enjoyable to use frequently, IMHO.

Treating myself to #journalling time using my LSW Mind Cards #Journal prompt cards. Today’s random draw was “What does success mean to you?” I wrote a lot! Using my #Lamy 2000 fine nib pen with #Diamine Chocolate Brown #ink in an old #Rhodia goal book that I’ve used for many purposes over the years. Will not manage to write every day - I am extremely #ill now with my #neuro disease. But going to enjoy the writing bursts I get. With random prompts. #journaling #stationery #fountainPen #Lamy2000

Now, I am in my office with the brownies! So I set coffee machine with Velentine's blend.

Man, since I've started a daily journal (just my 3rd week), my mind is so much more clear it seems. I've also became a bit more analog & plan/journal my guitar practice as well. I can feel myself coming out of a plateau already this month. Amazing how awesome going more analog is. A good #FountainPen & good #Stationery, #JapaneseStationery to be exact & off ya go! Though I am a #Rhodia fan as well.
