i actually had to bail on the #rehearsal on the last episode because that kid becoming attached to nathan broke my heart and seriously called into question whether he should be doing this, and whether i should continue to participate, anymore.

I picked up the restrung guitar and practiced for a bit. Okay, well, maybe I shouldn't have laid off practicing quite this ow long ow. No doubt ow my left hand will ow ow ow have callouses soon.

Or blisters, though I think I stopped in time.

Yeah, play Norwegian Wood on an electric guitar without a capo when you haven't really practiced in... what century is this, now? That was the last tune I tried, and so here I am, lol. It was okay. My left hand's fingertips were griping.

Lead guitar? Slow, and deliberately so. More accurate than I had any reason to expect.

These strings are not the extra rubber band type I usually get. I intend to eventually tune them to E natural, so they will be stiff. This is a good thing for getting back into shape. I'd rather not use the sloppy strings just yet.

Playing heavier gauge strings than usual is like swinging a heavy bat before taking an at-bat with your regular one in baseball.

My fingertips are a bit warm now, letting me know with every keystroke. Oh, the joys of reacquiring callouses.

I also played with a riff, perhaps for a new song.

First actual rehearsal in quite a long time. Definitely needed it. When the chords are clean, and we're up to speed, it will have been worth it, right fingertips?

I hadn't seen Robin Williams or Carol Burnett in anything in a long time, and I definitely hadn't seen this. The first take is good. The second take is spectacular, but I think you need to see the first take to appreciate what Robin does the second time.

He was so good. She was an absolute pro not to burst out laughing in the second take. Well, almost. I wasn't expecting the ending, lol.

I'll preface this by saying I am not familiar with #NathanFielder's work. I never watched "Nathan For You" and "The Curse" intrigues me but I think it's more drama less.. this.

That said I watched Season 1 of "the #rehearsal" last year and have been rescheduled awaiting the next season. Now I'm a couple episodes into Season 2 and constantly blown away.

I constantly find myself going "no, no. That would be be insane!" only for the reveal to hit and he's actually gone 20 times further and nobody's the wiser.

I'm torn if it's all exactly as he presents everything, e.g. if they're lying about what's being shown or what they conducted. However, I think the entire premise relies on the viewer trusting and believing what Nathan, even if that means being a alright unreliable narrator to build the suspense/story. So, if something came out that all the narration was lies, the show would be DOA.

All that said; I'm constantly in awe. If you're all about "brainless entertainment" it's probably not your cup of tea but give it two if three episodes and see in the insanity lures you in.

25% of season 2 is yet to air and I'm starting to suspect that he has secretly built an entire 1:1 clone of #Houston's #Hobby airport and nobody has known they've been landing in the wrong place for 20 years and being whisked back to the real one in secret every flight.

Just ignore the weird guy wandering the terminal with his laptop, he's harmless.

Jesus Christ, Nathan Fielder is either insane or a genius or both. What the fuck!?

Location is Schanzenstr. 22, first floor, 51063 Köln-Mülheim.
It is an ongoing experiment, I want to find out how it changes my performance practice, when people dance to the sounds my machines produce.
