Hey all, if I #Reformat an old #BLU #Android phone, (I mean old for a smart phone. Circa 2014,) will I still be able to get what updates there are for it? I'm trying to turn it into an MP3 player, but there is something wrong with the storage. It's old enough that you could still integrate an SD card with the internal storage. So I don't know if it's the phone or the SD card that's the issue.

So reformatting might help.

It's a BLU R1 HD, Marshmallow, last security update 2018. /e/, Legacy, nor Graphene list the phone.

Any suggestions?

What's the longest you have ever had a distro running on your daily driver (servers don't count!!) without hopping, re-installing or reformatting the drive?

I think my record was back in 2004, #Mandrake/#Mandriva for a bit more than a year.
