[Brackitzzy]Okay Its lore time CATS OWO<br>the last week has been a roller coaster<br>1. I lost my backup of all my files due to data corruption. <br>2. The backup included all my passwords, my firefox user profile folder, A lot ( I mean A LOT of photos), Movies that I fluffy-ly obtained by legal means, and MOST importantly my deviant art looking drawings/sketches QwQ<br>3. My anxiety got worse<br>4. I forgot to take my medication a few times for said anxiety making me feel worse.<br>5. I fell down while trying to clean my desk<br><br>Some lessons were learn particularly that <br>1. I should keep more than one backup and be mindful of my stuff.<br>2. I'll not forgot to take my meds by using the power of cherrytree note taking to organize my daily doings.<br>3. Fossery Tech :debian: :gnome:<p>Dang, I need to study but I can't stop thinking about the things I want to do outside studying. I want to develop FosseryWeb, make some videos etc. My brain can't stop generating ideas, and refusing to focus on my university studies until I do all of that. Dang, my brain! Stop, please stop generating ideas all the time! I have to study to be able to make a living!! I fight constant war against my thoughts to be able to focus, and be able to get a job once I finish my studies, because of course I have to make a living, and this Fossery Tech / FosseryWeb project won't be my main source of income, because I'm not a businessman, can't make this whole project profitable without giving up what it stands for (promoting only FOSS software/services, standing against Big Tech and digital slavery), which I won't. So I guess the only solution is to force myself to study some boring theoretical stuff for 4 years, then work for a company, which may or may not become "evil"... Regardless, I will always separate this project from my daily job, won't tell my employers about it, to avoid situations, like being manipulated/forced to promote the company's product under the Fossery Tech name, because any for-profit company can become evil, then I couldn't say, I don't want to promote their product anymore, it would be a really bad situation. This means a few things:</p><p>1) I'm familiar with the phrase "go touch grass".</p><p>2) I need to go touch some fucking grass.</p><p>3) I am frankly shocked that the domain touchinggrass.co.uk was available!</p><p>This will let me refocus my existing blog at <a href="https://pbarker.dev" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">pbarker.dev</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> to concentrate on the software, open source and tech policy stuff.</p><p>Photography, rambling up the hills and personal updates make more sense on this new site. 🌶️PQT🌶️<p>There I just accept the bullshit. I accept the bullshit here too. I just block freely whilst in search of some good vibes. Found it pretty nuts how some instances would block other instances over the mildest discourse. Still not over how .lol got destroyed because the globetrotter admin got mad "we" did not like he was neutral about the anti-semetic Harry Potter game and allowed screenshots/discussion or whatever. In hindsight such a miniscule problem in comparison to closing a whole instance.</p><p>Much more surprising but also NOT surprising I find Google Books recommending me to read 'best-seller' Mein Kampf on 10 cents discounts. Mind I use Googlebooks only to buy children's books. Banshee<p>The stupid thing is: After these thoughts, you open your social media app (where I'm typing this RIGHT NOW) and you start feeling bad for feeling overwhelmed. It feels like a "boomer" mindset to wish for peace and quiet in your immediate social circle while accepting humanity (aka: the US (yes this is cynicism)) is dismantling it's rules of social engagement and care in 1933 speed. And then I read it is Trans Day of visibility.
