Mi obsesión por usar apps que consuman poca RAM me empuja a usar #profanity, que, por cierto, anda perfecto por el momento.

@debacle Gracias! En Kali estoy en #X11 también, con #xfce. Gajim v2.1.1.1-2.

Es verdad, no es lo más rápido que hay, y consume bastante memoria... acabo de lanzar #gajim, #pidgin, #dino, y #profanity, y los consumos de memoria residente son muy dispares:

* Gajim: 309M
* Dino: 507M
* Pidgin: 129M
* Profanity: 45M

Me quedo con Profanity por mi obsesión con el bajo consumo de RAM 😉

Aktuelle sieht es danach aus, dass ich auf der #froscon einen kleinen Workshop zu #XMPP Programmierung gebe.

Lasst uns einen kleinen Bot programmieren, so kann man das Protokoll etwas kennenlernen. Wer danach auch noch Interesse an #profanity (XMPP Client) hat, kann gerne auf mich zukommen.

Außerdem einen kleinen "Workshop" zu #Debian. Debian hat an dem Tag Geburtstag, dann können wir die Gelegenheit nutzen 😉

Bei Interesse sollte man mal bei DevRaum der #TroLUG vorbei schauen. Da wird es wohl auch viel #Jabber geben.

for some reason #profanity makes an c abort when I try to connect to #disroot xmpp server. I thought that it was the server because #disroot hahaha but I noticed that is profanity aborts for some reason. I don't know and honestly I don't want to deep it in for the moment, probably is a good opportunty to try #poezio now that they fixed the omemo dependencies issues.

Por cierto, un tiempo usé #profanity en terminal, e iba excelente. Hoy debería buscar documentación para acordarme de los comandos 😅
