This is a really well thought-out survey on redesigns for an updated autistic pride flag! I believe it's open to everyone but obviously the input of autistic and neurodivergent people is especially significant. (I also like this survey because it takes the possible overlap with the Metis flag seriously)

Symbols matter, so consider contributing!

Google DocsAutistic pride flag survey round 2!In this survey, I'm going to ask you to rate 13 flag designs that have been proposed as autistic pride flags. You will get to see the results of the survey upon submitting. No questions are mandatory so if you run out of steam feel free to submit a partial response. You may edit your response after submitting but you will need to save the special URL google will provide you in order to do so. When you hit submit, right click "edit your response" and save that URL into a text file or somewhere else you'll find it again. This is the second in a series of surveys on autistic pride flags. You don't need to have done the first one to participate in this one! The previous one asked folks to rate over 50 flags on a general scale of 1-5. A shortlist of flags was made by picking the top rated designs from the first survey. This survey will ask you about the shortlisted flags, probing in greater detail about what people like or don't like about these flags. My goal is to help inform what people do and do not like in autism pride flags. Per feedback on the first survey, I will first give some background information that is relevant to the flags you'll be asked to rate.

New York remains a good place to be.

Seen while passing through The Oculus the other evening: a large Progress Pride Flag and some nicely-done themed lighting design.

Official and commercial New York aren't going along with the creepy hatreds the current US regime is obsessed with.

Happy Pride, everyone!

This pride month, as trans people watch their bodily rights erode, and disabled people watch their right to life slip further away, we reflect on the parallel and echoic histories of gay and disability pride, and muse on what kinds of convictions might best move our collective movement forward.

For the past year, Liz Jackson and I attempted to unravel the origins of the 'Disability Pride Flag'. We believe it is less a flag and more an underlay, which we define as a stock image that packages disability under the guise of representing it.
