Also if anyone wants to see a video showing off some benchmarks and a setup process for the Raptor Blackbird motherboard and an up to date view of PowerPC Linux, feel free to share the link around (or donate if you have the money). I plan on doing a whole video series about it once I have the money, starting from a cheap build guide and moving on to videos about the desktop experience, programming, games, 3D graphics, video, music production, the works. All prodiced on the computer itself!

#PowerPC #ppc64el

On today's #Trisquel meeting we took the step to update the #netinstall to use the latest linux-hwe-6.5 kernel for v11.0 aka #Aramo

We are ironing some details to build the latest ISO set updates, it will add netinstall for #arm64 and #ppc64el devices with built-in bootloader. Sadly that leaves out arm SBC.

So, it feels like a new release already. 🥳

Please recall that v12.0 is still looking for a name. Please vote or suggest one at the forum.

My #power9 machine distro (#archpower) does not provide a #telegram desktop package.

Compiling it is far from trivial, so I cobbled together a container spec which works almost flawless. Based on the telegram package availble in #debian #ppc64el Drawback is that no apps from the host can be used; e.g. the web browser can not be used to open links directly, as the telegram app runs in the container.

Much faster than using the telegram web version.
