Simon Couch<p>The talk recordings from <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/positconf2023" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>positconf2023</span></a> are now live on Youtube! </p><p>A highlight of the conference for me was from Nicole Jardine and Dan Snow from the Cook County Assessor's Office on using <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/rstats" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>rstats</span></a> tidymodels to help allocate $16B in property taxes. It was amazing to get a peek into their model development process and learn about all of the factors they keep in mind along the way.
