More often than not, he's ahead of the curve, and the world loves a #Maverick that leverages their free market industrialist prowess toward #philanthropic ends.
Now if we can just convince him to ditch all that electric car bullshit (as good as he does it) that are piling up in backlogs at our ports because there's no more room on the car lots coz nobody wants them, and people are enslaved, working in the mines that produce the rare earth components of those poison batteries that run on the #coal and #petroleum that would be better utilized just to produce the electricity that we already consume.
Not to mention the ecological hazard those batteries pose, if they don't explode and incinerate the occupants of electric vehicles first; at least there's virtually no place to charge those vehicles, often stranded and scattered about like tombstones in a graveyard in the snow. - the grid couldn't take the load even if the government had managed (but failed miserably) to install all the #vaporware that they said would be charging stations everywhere anyway. And the only half-way decent charging stations out there are #Elon's anyway, and won't charge the legions of #EVs by other manufacturers that are just sitting, collecting dust, on the showroom floor.
Nevermind that #CNG is a cheap, clean way to power vehicles today, #Hydrogen is on its way, but research funding is attenuated by the lobbying efforts of special interest groups that instead promote the toxic and unsustainable electric vehicle industry.
Anyway, had Elon been alone in his quest to deliver quality EVs, I think the difference he would have made in that sector could have grown organically for those who aren't concerned about the death and suffering of those who mine the resources necessary to produce those undercarriage bombs that power those vehicles. But I digress, and this boost is about all the magnanimous contributions that #Musk has shared like #The_Boring_Company, #SpaceX, #Neuralink, ... Yeah, even #Tesla ;)
