RubbleI tried to draw our living room from memory. Very difficult exercise. I'm gonna do it again, and more rooms around the house. Ulrich SubergSome 3D practice from years back that I dug up for someone recently. I took some photos in the amazing Landschaftspark in Duisburg and then tried to apply what I knew about linear perspective by determining vanishing point etc. Then I just drew the lines. Chloe the cartographerI often see a few stunning maps employing the full three point technique which I love. It’s a rarer sight to see one-point perspective used and I think it’s potentially worth looking at. It can be used to keep the fidelity of a 2D map. So you get the best of both worlds a 2D map with accurate two dimensional distances and a feeling of depth which can convey character. JensMy new tutoring-program is loosely based on ttrpg's. Perspective drawing is very abstract until you've mastered the fundamental ideas, so I created a deck of quests for the player(student) to explore a location I call the Abstract Garden.
