Lone Spelunker<p>Playtested some new monsters for my upcoming game.</p><p>The zephyr beetle (a flying creature) and the marauder beetle (a tanky brute) feel about right.</p><p>The huge goliath beetle, on the other hand, WRECKED my party. First my shield warden went down, and then my dog. Lone Spelunker<p>Working some more on terrain for my papercraft solo RPG skirmish game.</p><p>Today I made some new “standee” trees that take up 2”x2” instead of the “box” trees that are only 1”x1”. I think I like them better - they are more stable on the play area and they feel more like trees.</p><p>I’m experimenting with doing all line art or adding grayscale shading to some elements. No direct identification or credit in the video, but is this the coal miners’ strike, Donetsk, Ukraine, sometime between 1989–1991?</p><p>And do you know how to make the hats? Lone Spelunker<p>Doing some more work on the papercraft miniatures for the second adventure location of my solo miniatures RPG "Fable on your Table" (second edition).</p><p>This set introduces outdoor battles, and I think the papercraft terrain and enemies are starting to look pretty good.</p><p>This time, I remembered to time myself. Each miniature takes only about two minutes to score, cut out, and assemble.
