El Perro NegroThis week was the first hike I've done which really proved the usefulness and worth of the Six Moon Designs Sun Umbrella. The sun was beating down as we reached the lake and bivvy site mid-afternoon. There was very little natural shade around but the umbrella really helped. The reflective outer and dark coated inner created a welcome cool space. Seems there is more snow than normal for June so will have to take crampons and ice axes to cross the high passes and maybe summit some stuff.Bummer, as adds to the weight.
