I want to deploy #Okular as PDF reader on our Windows clients with #OPSI in the library. The only official way I have found is to download and install Okular via MS Store.

MS Store is blocked of course on these machines. Is that what you want @kde? Why can't I simply download the EXE?

I have now downloaded it from #Chocolaty, renamed the NUPKG file to ZIP and copied the EXE file out of it to build an OPSI package.

Currently I am working a lot with #OPSI as a software distribution for #Windows and #Linux clients. What I like most is that you can integrate repositories from other institutes and data centers to exchange packages of #opensource software for Windows among each other. And you can quickly build your own installation packages. You can find some OPSI users on their map:

@playforvoices Ich gebe ganz ehrlich zu, dass ich #OPSI aus meinem alten Job nicht vermisse.

Need for work to manage a couple of Laptops with currently fast pacing updates.
Numbers exploded as a bonus.

So we are currently considering rolling out #opsi for our Win10 Laptops that we partially manage to update 2-3 Applications. (We added 20 Machines to the pool recently, think we hence doubled in a month)
Applications do not have patch management.

Any other recommendations? Self hosted, #FLOSS preferred. Windows shop, high privacy settting.
