Um das Thema #Fensterbank ging es diese Woche in der wunderbaren #52WochenFotoChallenge.

Und wieder einmal führte diese Challenge dazu, daß ich Dinge gesehen habe, die mir vorher vermutlich nie aufgefallen wären, so wie diese überaschend blaue Flugscheibe, die, gesichert durch die Taubendrähte, einen unerwarteten Landeplatz auf einer Außenfensterbank gefunden hat.

In einem wunderschönen Altbau, dessen gesamte Fassade noch elegant verziert ist.

Not an easter project, but seems like a good time to post progress on this one

#WritersCoffeeClub 4/20. What rôle does religion play in your writing?

When I'm writing historical it's important and included, though that doesn't mean characters aren't sceptical - some are, some aren't.

In one series, the MC is called the avatar of Durga Ma by a guru who's trying to overthrow the British in India. And people latch on to it, calling her a goddess - which she hates although is not above using it from time to time.

My fantasy world has a complex set of religions though you don't see them much, they also change over time. The "World's Pattern" is a big thing as is the Mother. Then a character gets called the Daughter, which she also hates. (Is this a pattern?) Non-humans have their own belief systems.

In CAT PEOPLE the MC, Geeta Kholi (pictured), has been brought up in the Sikh tradition, and some of the action is based around the local gurdwara.

Yeah, religions definitely play a part because people are always people.

Ha. No.

Though I did use reproducing classic movie scenes (and paintings) as practice for 3D rendering.

#WordWeavers 4/20. If someone gave you a million dollars (or equivalent) to never write again, would you take it?

Would I be tempted? Yes.

Would I do it? No.

There's an argument that says I could switch to 3D rendering but I cannot help but tell stories so I'd want to be writing comics. That doesn't work either.

In regard to this image, the speech bubble is literally part of the 3D scene, it wasn't added afterwards.

Except all the time, I don't complain very often, but the whole "make yourself into a dolly with ai" bugs me, because they aren't actually good.

Some time ago, I made a manip version of Jeff Bezos based on the 1970 Kojak doll and thing about AI stuff is just how disposable it is. In making the stupid Bezos thing, I was shining plastic effects, coming up with stupid jokes, finding fonts that matched the original, and cloning on the bald gits face - I'm not saying I'm particularly funny.
