Tushar Chauhan<p>A question for my netowrk/sys admin friends. I want to create a nextcloud server on an old laptop at home. Since this sits behind my router, I am wondering how I can access it from the outside. I suppose this is a big chunk of a network admin's competence, so I am not aiming to be proficient at it by simply reading up. However, are there free resources that will help me accomplish what I want ? I want to be as safe as possible to external attacks. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.mit.edu/tags/networkAdmin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>networkAdmin</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.mit.edu/tags/sysadmin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sysadmin</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.mit.edu/tags/dev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dev</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.mit.edu/tags/nextcloud" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nextcloud</span></a></p>
