Matthijs KooijmanThe sound quality in these Can Can seats at <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MoulinRouge" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#MoulinRouge</a> was good but not always great (as it was in the center of the room). I can imagine this is a hard place to get a good mix, since the seats are beside (not in front) the main PA speakers.There were extra speakers in front and to the side of the stage with which they made a separate mix, which was nice (and meant that during dialogue, you would often just hear the actors accoustically with hardly any amplification).

I liked these special more-than-front-row "Can Can seats" for being right in the middle of things and seeing all these nice details about the actors, props and emotions (and them passing by close enough to be grazed by their costumes is nice).As can be expected, I did not experience the spectacle of the show as well as from a more center seat (which is a pity), so I probably would not recommend these seats if you are viewing the show just once.

Matthijs KooijmanAnd for something completely different: getting ready for the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MoulinRouge" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#MoulinRouge</a> musical in the Beatrixtheatre.Saw it once before a few months ago and was so impressed by the singing, dancing, staging and overall spectacle, that we decided to see it again. Way up front (even before the first row of seats) this time, so we can really see the emotions and expressions on the performers, which should be awesome :-)Show starts in 2 min :-D
