Please keep Indy in your thoughts. Nothing is wrong with him, but he is experiencing high levels of happiness today. We are unsure if this comes with any unwanted side effects.

More from Moloka'i on my isand site (Link below as comment)
I had enough time this week to pull together some drone footage from the first half of the year and make something nice out of it (my laptop protested the entire time). The Mavic 3 can now do slo-mo that has the same feel as 120 fps. Another nice edit if you are in need of a mini digital vacation.
Another airplane ride and another outstanding view of beautiful Moloka'i.
Another fun video edit of things seen in Moloka'i, Kaua'i, and of course Maui.
If the news of the day has you feeling down, take a few minutes to chill out with some pretty sights: https://youtu.be/QrHOCBw209w?si=AGghtEQYEbe9dZUR
Here's a recent shot of Indy in the clouds aboard a 208EX Grand Caravan on Mokulele Airlines. The flight between Maui and Moloka'i is an easy one. You get the usual sights of mountains and reefs, but we also saw some Humpack whales on our journey. I saw Indy look out the window a few times to take it all in.
Mostly though, he wanted his chicken treats for being such a good boy.
I totally forgot to post up the link to a new video I made featuring the one and only Indy!!!!

He has had a phenomenal "Makahiki" season and has traveled to both the Big Island and Moloka'i. Make your Tuesday a little brighter and take a look at the magical ways Indy spends his days.
I have been busy with a little bit of last-minute travel and joy-seeking before starting a new job this week.
Last weekend we went to Moloka'i where Indy was greeted with a song and a custom puakenikeni lei at the airport from our hosts. He smelled amazing for the rest of the afternoon
@GrrlScientist
. . . In Hawaii, almost nothing below 3000 feet is native and the fires were almost entirely in the lowlands. (Endangered plant habitat has been imperiled by fire in some places.)
7) VOLCANO ACTIVITY IS NOT CAUSING BIRD EXTINCTIONS! The Hawaiian Islands are, and always have been, volcanic. Life has flourished here for many tens of millions of years.
8) As pointed out by @manukikorangi, the #Molokai Creeper caption is incorrectly applied . . .

The window seat is the way to go when flying around Hawaii. It doesn't matter which side of the plane you are on -- you get an incredible view of something special.
A glimpse of the Southern side of Moloka'i from the window seat of a Southwest flight.
@pvonhellermannn @Andy_European absolutely! They are outstanding at passing down the knowledge, The artifacts burning are a terribly sad loss, but not one that will impede knowledge survival. Many moons ago I filmed a revered uncle on #Molokai about the art of loko pu'unone (fishponds). One day I'll edit it and share it, but it's etched in my memory!
Just a normal interaction with the system ....I am trying to impress you...see...
I don't think I can combine a photo and video (yet?) 'here', but gonna give it a whirl. "Testing..." *

Such a lovely new tune I'd love to see open with a player, new from Josienne Clarke
THE TANGLED TREE
“Searching for a tune
That I haven’t sung before
One that’s lesser used and lesser sad
But somehow maybe more "
