Just spotted the weirdest thing, on my Teltonika 4G router, my provider (O2) has been disconnecting me every 24 hours for weeks. The time of day shifts every 4-7 days, but it's consistent going back at least 2 months. Anyone seen this before? As I'm out of contract makes the decision to move to Vodafone (testing now) much easier! #O2 #mobiledata

Today, signing into the Wi-Fi network in Walmart required receiving a 6-digit code through email for "security". Receiving this email before it expires after 15 minutes requires a cellular subscription. If they're requiring guest Wi-Fi users to already have cellular data, why even offer guest Wi-Fi?

chain user_post_forward {
type filter hook forward priority 1; policy accept;
ip ttl set 65
ip6 hoplimit set 65

}

put that in /etc/nftables.d/10-custom-filter-chains.nft on OpenWrt and your hotspot may stop accounting your traffic as "hotspot" traffic. in case you're metered separately for hotspot.

It's incredible to see how much mobile plans have improved over the past 7 years! Back then, I was paying €15/month for a 2-year contract that included 3 GB of data. Today, I'm only paying €7.50/month for a 2-year contract with 15 GB of data. Not only is the price significantly lower, but the data speeds have also increased dramatically. Half the price for five times the data and improved performance – that's truly impressive.
