The editor I used did not automatically number lines and the default to move from one line to another was to type, eg, -7, if you wanted to move 7 lines up.

Does anybody recognise this editor. Could it have been "ed"?

If you know people with an interest in 1980s minicomputers would you mind boosting? Rua
Today at the #HomeComputerMuseum repair department, a big minicomputer-like thing from the early 80s. Made by Compudata, a Dutch company that would later rename itself to Tulip Computers. We haven't really been able to find anything about what it is, despite having the faceplate with a name on it.

Also, with it came a big chonk of a hard drive, capacity not known. The hard drive seemed to include controller hardware, and consisted of a whopping FOUR separate PCBs stacked on top of each other. Thankfully the top two could be tilted upwards. The hard drive has some electrical issues so we're not sure if it still works.

Not shown are an equally large second computer case, containing two 8-inch floppy drives.

#RetroComputing #Minicomputer #Compudata #TulipComputers

Having them on the bottom left near the keyboard might be a bit inconvenient or annoying for left-handed users who hold the console with their left hand. 🤔

As for the color, I'm a bit boring, but I think a metallic silver or gray (like options 2 or 6) would look great.
