E. MagnussonI have taken up weaving, something I thought I would forever leave to others. I’m collecting all of the craft techniques and weaving just wasn’t my style. To slow, to methodical. <br> <br> Band weaving, yes! Small scale tapestry, maybe. But like, real big loom action? Nah. But I just finished my first self drafted half fill costume fabric and I’m hooked. <br> <br> Yes, there’s a mistake in the middle. But I’m going to be making it into a bodice, where the mistake will disappear into the garment piecing. Yes the process was long and slow, but shuttling on a good day is better than deep breathing meditation. I’ve never been so satisfied with the state of things. <br> <br> I guess I’m a weaver too now.
