Cet hiver, l'envie m'a pété de faire un pull en crochet après avoir vu le modèle de @le_pull_le_pull qui est juste une incroyable designer !
Du coup BIM! je me lance et après avoir galéré à prendre en main cet outil de malheur, les panneaux prennent forme petit à petit.
Bon je vous cache pas que sans ma mère le résultat serait quand même bien moins joli, donc merci à elle de réparer mes bêtises avec patience

En vrai c'est allé tout seul, il y avait certe beaucoup de couleurs à changer mais je suis très contente du résultat

It took fewer than 6 years for the irreversible collapse of the British Empire, the largest empire in human history.

80 years on and it's barely remembered at all, except for the occasional English politician trying to convince their acolytes that Albion will rise again.

So... How's it going there, America?

The British Commonwealth of Nations and His Majesty's colonies and possessions occupy about 12,000,000 square miles or nearly one-fourth of the entire land surface of the earth - Estimated at 52,500,000 square miles. The King's realm extends to every ocean and over every continent on the face of the globe, and encompasses a population of almost 500,000,000 people in the greatest empire in history. Most of the lands and possessions were acquired in the last three and one-half centuries by exploration, by conquest, by settlement, by purchase. This map is designed to show how the great kingdom sprawls all over the globe. It also locates and gives The dates of territorial acquisitions, and indicates the famed British Trade lifeline from England to Africa, Asia and Australia. In the light of the startling and menacing Russian-German coalition in Europe and Japanese ambitions in the Far East, political observers see an ominous shadow cast over the great framework which ties the units of the British Empire into one great whole. Defeat in the war with Germany, and even an inglorious and expensive stalemate, would see the breakup of the empire, it is believed.

Stare to Heaven

OK, back to my stroll pictures, which took place February 27th. Just a random abstract from the playground. Actually the shot was, again, shot from waist level without looking at the camera, but I'm kinda happy with the result! I didn't notice the composition or anything till I sorted out the images when I got back home. Even though it is also processed in HDR, but I didn't go berserk with tone-mapping and stuck to normalcy here.

@ionica wat geeft ze ontzettend goed weer wat vrouwen meemaken in de wetenschap. Ik ben pas op oudere leeftijd gepromoveerd ondanks alle tegenwerkingen en opmerkingen. Was de eerste bij het Ruud de Moorcentrum van de @OpenUniversiteit dat beviel de heren niet. De naam werd veranderd in #LOOK en de eerstvolgende mannelijke promovendus werd triomfantelijk aangekondigd als de eerste promovendus. Eén van de vele voorbeelden van tegenwerking, pesterijen etc. Discriminatie is nog alom
