Time for me to say goodnight. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed today. I got my swim in even though the last two laps were in the rain. Managed just over 1km which is quite satisfying. It rained all afternoon, but the garden is well watered now. I’ve heard from a couple of friends this afternoon & had a few laughs. #LifeIsGood.
Anyway this is me for the evening. I hope you enjoy Affirmation from Savage Garden - seems fitting & pretty much how I feel. #Music. Have a great evening my pocket friends.

G’day tooters. It’s already nearly 30c at not yet 10am & will be climbing to a hot 36c with thunderstorms forecast for the afternoon. It’s was a hot night last night - 25c when I got up at 6am #Weather.
I was out the door & off for a walk around the river by 6.15am & home by 7.45am after a lovely 6km walk in the dawn #Exercise. I’m showered now & had my breakfast & watered the garden. I never listen to music when I’m walking, I love the quiet & I like to hear the wind in the trees or the different birds calling but I do tend to sing a little, not loudly & often just in my head & it’s triggered by things I see on these walks. Today I had to go past where the Moscow circus has set up to get to the track & into my head pops the song Rasputin😁. Then a little further on the track I turn to see the dawn light just before the sun rises & it’s Here Comes the Sun! Then there was a spiders web with a dried, curled up gum leaf in it that you know is home to the spider & Give Me Home Among the Gumtrees. Finally there’s a big black raven 🐦‍⬛ near my car as I arrive back to the car park & it’s Blackbird. #Singing #Walking #MyBrain 😄. I even met an old friend walking in the opposite direction & we gave each other sweaty hugs 🤗. Lovely start to my day. #LifeIsGood.

The morning sky just before the sun appears over the horizon. The top of the sky is a bluey grey with a few interestingly shaped clouds just above where then sun will rise & the glow is a pinky orange. There can also be seen the outline of trees at the back of a paddock that has some sheep in it. Glorious morning.
