Most of them require powerful PCs. But I'm using Void Linux with Openbox on a <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Librebooted" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Librebooted</span></a> ThinkPad T60 (from ~2008) and it's so much faster. It doesn't have SystemD and uses runit instead. So it's fast, like it used to be before. runit takes a bit of learning at first but works great.</p><p>I also made this config to get a traditional experience on Openbox: <a href="https://notabug.org/adnan360/openbox-config" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">notabug.org/adnan360/openbox-c</span><span class="invisible">onfig</span></a></p><p>Now it feels like any other distro, but faster.</p>
