It's a #ThrowbackThursday post as I delve through my archives and found this little gem.

Convention wisdom would say that a #Leica M-P (Typ 240) isn't the right camera to use to shoot the #aurora, but who cares about convention wisdom when it can do the job?

Shot with Leica M-P (Typ 240) with the #Laowa 15 mm f/2.

The weather’s getting warmer so that means the little critters are coming out. I geared up my XH 1 with the battery grip, flash, and diffuser and went Easter egg hunting for #insects and #arachnids I’m sorry Arachnophobes, they’re out in full swing now and I can’t pass up a shot.

Macro photo of a tiny spider in a tiny web against a blurry background of plants. The spider couldn’t have been taller than 2mm.

I’m not 100% sure what type of spider this is but my guess is it’s a juvenile orb weaver or garden spider. It was busy making its web and had no time to spend worrying about me with my camera.

Same spider as picture number 2 busy making its web for the night in hopes of catching dinner.

#MonochromeMonday jeudi dernier, reflet dans une flaque d'eau sur le chemin menant à l'ancienne carrière en contrebas du radar. Le ciel était comme il faut pour un beau reflet. https://finistere.en-photo.fr/reflet

Photo monochrome en noir et blanc, prise au ras d'une flaque d'eau sur un chemin menant à une carrière. De chaque côté du chemin, on peut voir des arbustes. Dans la flaque d'eau, se reflètent le beau ciel, partiellement nuageux avec une belle lumière et surtout la tour surmontée d'un radôme abritant une antenne radar construite au sommet de la falaise dominant la carrière.

Purple Anemone in macro

A macrophotograph of a Purple Anemone flower.
Looking at it's core we see a dark purple spiky ball. Surrounding that, we have the pollen glands which look very much like tiny purple coffee beans on blue-ish stalks. The petals can be barely seen, on the edges of the shot.

This was shot with a Lumix S5, using a Laowa 90mm macro lens. Edited with Darktable
