While this year's #fosdem was a great event again, let's not forget the people missing. Personally, I remember the great talk #krisnova held last year, and I'm so sad that she's no longer with us.

It hits me hard every time I am looking at #krisnova GitHub and the contribution counter is frozen on the 15th of August. I miss you Kris, we never met and you did not know I existed but I miss you.

Rest in peace, @nova.I met her at one of the first gopher cons. That was a meeting to remember.

We lost one of the leading lights of tech this week. Relentlessly driven, astonishingly brilliant, and one of the bravest people I ever met, Kris Nóva was both an inspiration and a friend to dozens, if not hundreds, of people (including me). While it is fitting that she should have left us doing what she always did -- taking risks -- we are all poorer for having lost her.

I'm deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Kris Nóva, a remarkable individual who played a significant role as a fediverse Admin & Leader. Her legacy is felt not only within the Nivenly community but also across the Fediverse, where she administered the Hachyderm server. Kris Nóva's vision and contributions have left an indelible mark on the tech world, and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her loved ones and the entire community during this challenging time.

Very sad to hear about the passing of @nova . She was a valuable asset to DevOps and open source, often pushing the envelope on what was possible and challenging business as usual. She will be greatly missed. #KrisNova #Nova
