Does anyone know why #ivory doesn’t format YouTube links with their corresponding thumbnails and description? Is it related to their YouTube.be link shortening?
A bit maddening.

Oh! Seems like #GoToSocial notifications work on #Ivory 2.3.3 
#Ivory vergisst manchmal die Berechtigung, Notifikationen zu senden. Hatte Tweetbot damals auch.
In "Mitteilungen" einmal aus- und wieder einschalten vergibt die Rechte neu und behebt das Problem.
Ich habe #ivory auch schon ausprobiert, aber hier ist man gezwungen, die App jährlich zu bezahlen. Was auf Dauer sehr teuer ist. Mir ist zumindest nicht bekannt, dass es auch einen einmaligen Zahlungsplan gibt. Die Ivory App ist vom Programmierer, der damals auch mit die beste #twitter App programmierte, bevor der Dienst durch Verschlechterung der API-Situation Dritt-Apps quasi unmöglich machte - lange, bevor #elonmusk das Ruder übernahm. Hey, if you’re using #Ivory app and you swipe up or down with two fingies, you change the highlight colour of the buttons, hashtags and links.
Small thing, but I thought it was neat.
I really like #Ivory to interact with Mastodon on my phone; but it does one crazy thing. When I press somewhere expecting a menu, and there’s not enough room, I expect the menu to move accordingly. Ivory, though, also reorders the items within the menu. I _think_ it just reverses them, but it’s hard to tell. Very disconcerting.
Right wonderful #MastodonApp folks, what's a good iOS client to use? I was using #Ivory a while ago.
@theropologist No one has answered yet and it's been hours. Not a problem, but by commenting here it sorta boosts my post. Right at the moment I am NOT having the problem of having Home view posts not advancing, but it's been hours till now it was kind of frozen in place. I really wonder if this is an #Ivory problem.
Wondering if it’s an #Ivory problem on iPhone or a problem with the Instance. Been watching over a week and I can’t tell. Sooo tagged for @theropologist as well. If I use my usual icon on Home Screen to open Ivory which is set to beige.party, I can get a count of how many more items are ready above the top one I’m reading in my home view. I have to tap top of my iPhone display to force these to show up. I have set the view to be slow mode view because not doing that is insanely fast and it’s hard to get back to a post I wanted to read.
But after about 3 such attempts, and clicking into my Notifications view, I can no longer get the posts in my Home view to advance. No similar problem for view on Fediverse, Local, notifications, Explore, hashtag search, List view etc. Ideas? I do notice this happens mostly 10 am to 6 pm US Mountain time. We have a small Instance and mostly USians on it.

Wenn #Ivory nun auch nicht mehr im „Early Access“ ist, können sie ja jetzt die Abo Preise ordentlich anheben.
Jetzt haben sie auch ihre Roadmap verschwinden lassen (u. a. ›Browsing other instances‹ und ›Audio Files‹ standen da zuletzt drin). Wohl kein gutes Zeichen.

@sinky And ended up installing IceCube and cancelling the Ivory subscription. IceCube is closer to Mammoth and how I want to approach Mastodon. A «better for me» experience.
