My first thought is that attempting to measure ANYTHING about society from Facebook and Twitter posts seems like it will reflect badly on everyone, everywhere, all of the time, forever.

#Onboarding's been net positive, but a required 3rd party educational #video reminded me why we wrote that, "Scholars in the field cringe whenever we experience another mandated training suggesting that #implicitBias is entirely #unconscious, a stable trait in each of us that we can measure with a test..., or the primary cause of #prejudice in the #workplace."

Surprised this conclusion survived #peerReview: a "program succeeded in promoting positive attitudes and beliefs" about "#implicitBias #education ...among ...police" (N = 145).

The 1st survey was online, but the 2nd was in-person. And the 1st survey's questions weren't about the same trainings as the 2nd survey's.

So any differences in answers are as explainable by differences between the surveys as they are by one #education program.

Just got a note from FB saying they removed five posts from my personal page, for breaking community rules.

They only went after my shares of my Grand Magazine articles, only removing those featuring non-white people and their foods.

From the Q&A in the local newsletter:

"What will the driver do if they see an incident in progress? - Our drivers' primary duty is to observe, support, report, and when necessary serve as expert witness. When they see unusual activity, rather than make assumptions, they approach the scene in a friendly manner and ask if someone requires assistance before determining the next best response."

I wonder how much time their civilian drivers have spent interrogating their 'assumptions.'

Very big medical interpreting conference going on yesterday and today. I attended an excellent session yesterday on #ImplicitBias in medicine and how you can see its negative impacts in differential rates of disease among different ethnic groups.

And then I realized everything we were talking about would be labeled "CRT" and the entire panel would be illegal under laws introduced in over 40 states.
