David Leadbeater<p>Fun with internationalised domains:<br>Mastodon appears to render some Emoji characters in domains (but not all, I haven't had a chance to dig into the code yet).</p><p>If you want to be doubly verified, add a DNS record for "xn--13h" which is the punycode for ☑️, then configure and use that as your URL. See my profile for an example.</p><p>(I haven't posted an introduction, but expect more DNS crazy and silliness, some past hits have included Wordle over DNS and Wikipedia over DNS.)</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/punycode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>punycode</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/idna" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>idna</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/unicode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>unicode</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/emoji" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emoji</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/dns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dns</span></a></p>
Merill Fernando :verified: :donor:<p>I am super excited to see our project win the local ANZ Hackathon round for Inclusiveness Analyzer!! With the <a href="https://inclusivenessanalyzer.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Inclusiveness Analyzer</a> project we want to create a more inclusive Microsoft and impact our wider industry by bringing awareness to the non-inclusive language that we might be using unconsciously in our day to day interactions.</p><p>All credit to Marcus Carvalho who came up with the idea for building the GitHub Action version of the original plugin that we made for Visual Studio for this hackathon.</p><p>We then had a dream team come together with Tracy Yu, Catherine Watkins, Cédric Blomart, Jason Thompson and Adarsh Rema to build out not just a GitHub Action but also an Azure DevOps extension, update the Visual Studio extension to support VS 2022 as well as tie it altogether with the site at InclusivenessAnalyzer.com </p><p>Our awesome ANZ judges were impressed that we built all this in just five days. </p><p>If you are a developer, we would really love to see you make your code inclusive by adding Inclusiveness Analyzer to your project.</p><p>Try it out at InclusivenessAnalyzer.com</p><p>PS I also want to thank the Microsoft Identity family (IDNA D&amp;I) for creating a very unique D&amp;I culture within Microsoft where D&amp;I is not just a buzz word but something we live by and put into practice everyday. I was fairly ignorant of D&amp;I before I joined Microsoft a couple of years ago. Not only have I learnt a lot, I have also been given the freedom and encouragement to work on initiatives like this. Thanks to my manager Ben Wolfe and LTs Prasanna Samarawickrama, Susan Bohn and Joy Chik ❤️</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/idna" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>idna</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/diveristyandinclusion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diveristyandinclusion</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>microsoft</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/microsoftlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>microsoftlife</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/devops" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>devops</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/hackathon2022" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hackathon2022</span></a></p>
