MikaEveryday I curse at this stupid fuckin' Chinese mesh office chair (by <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Sihoo" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Sihoo</a>) I got some years ago. It's comfortable, but it's ridiculously fragile and brittle for something that costs ~1k MYR. I can't stand leather, so I can only get mesh chairs - before this I used a different mesh chair by <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/IKEA" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#IKEA</a> that was a lot more sturdy for a lot cheaper, but far less comfortable. I'll take this as a lesson tho to spend the extra k or 2 (or more) on a known-brand mesh chair like <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/HermanMiller" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#HermanMiller</a> or more realistically, <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Steelcase" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Steelcase</a>. They may cost (a lot) more but at least there's no question about their comfort/quality, and some of em even come with ridiculously long warranty periods like 12 years - for just 1k+ extra than some Chinese knock-off.

The gas cylinder is useless, so I may need to get more creative with that. Curtis McHaleAtlas Headrest for Embody Chair I just got my Embody chair yesterday and while it's very comfortable, it doesn't come with a headrest. Occasionally I'll toss the rolled-up towel behind my back in it, my car, or on the couch, but it never stays put. While re-reading about the McKenzie method today (my sister is a physical therapy assistant and had gifted me the book), I noticed that they sell lumbar rolls that you attach around your waist. Why didn't I think of that?! 2/N

Morgan AldridgeAs my severe back pain is starting to go from 'manageable' to 'subsiding' and while I continue to make sure that I'm not performing any motions that will cause any resurgence, I'm starting to work on processes to ensure correct posture and then exercise to strengthen.
