My hat off to those people who wire things on a regular basis. I tried installing a ceiling fan earlier this evening, and it took forever to wrap the wires right. Hell, I doubt I got the wire configuration right. #Handyman

It seems to me that there is a close relationship between how terrible a website is and how good the tradesperson it represents is.
Does it have web 1.0 design feature? A weird font? Fabulous. Is the contact form broken? Excellent. Is it unable to display properly on mobile? This person is a master of crafts, they will be able to fix that thing that's been stressing you in under 45 mins, will want paying in cash and will leave with a cheery wave and funny anecdote.
Completed a hallway and stairwell painting job today. The previous color was a sky blue but the new color makes it feel much warmer and pleasant.
The 'boss' is inspecting the new stair railing on a recent project!

I hired Angi to clean my gutters today, with someone scheduled to arrive at 9:00 AM. During the booking process, Angi provides a list of available start times, allowing you to choose when you want the work to begin. However, the assigned person almost always calls to change the schedule. What's the point of having a schedule if it's not going to be followed? I've started telling them to contact Angi directly if they need to reschedule. I believe that when a job is available, it's grabbed on a first-come, first-served basis from the Angi pool. I really don't care as long as the job gets done, but I find there are potential problems if I get involved with the scheduling.
