normand 🚴Planning my next <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/cycling" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#cycling</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/trip" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#trip</a> On Friday I start my last two weeks of summer vacation, so it's becoming urgent that I decide what I'll do. Since picking up <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/biking" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#biking</a> again a few years ago, I've wanted to ride the Route verte Nº 1 (part of the Trans Canada Trail) from the Québec City area to Sherbrooke (about 200 km/124mi SSW). Right now I'm thinking of a path that would go through Sherbrooke then hook through Magog and go back North to Drummondville where I have relatives, and where I could get picked up to drive back to QC. The steep climbs around Sherbrooke (nowhere near Alps level of course) kind of worry me! 😨 This would be a 360 km trip, my longest to date. I have to figure out lodging (if not everything's booked already 🙄 ) and if I'd do it in 5 or 6 days. I created a basic gpx trace using <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/opensource" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#opensource</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/gpxstudio" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gpxstudio</a>, and below is a link on the GpxPod app on my <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.gemnoc.ca/tag/nextcloud" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Nextcloud</a>.
