A friendly reminder that the holidays aren't necessarily a happy time for everyone. And that that is ok. Simple things can make it easier for everyone:
- if someone does not want alcohol, respecting their choice
- not commenting on how much / little someone eats
- using people's preferred pronouns is a great way to show you care
- it's ok to take a break or leave if you don't feel well / are exhausted / any other reason

Hey folks. I'm going to be starting up a new instance of @GetTogetherComm and continuing the code base. Any ideas for names?
There will be a lot of great work to do before I even get to my ideas as the existing GitHub project already has tons of issues and PRs. There's also a lot of what I consider to be spam that I will work to squash on this instance
