Thrash Cardiom
For those who are interested: This is going well but it is a far longer process than I have done before. Usually I would resize all the disks and install the operating system and then restore the vital data from a backup drive.

This time I have elected to restore everything from my cloud based encrypted backup. This is 300+ GB in size. It's proving to be a long slow process which is annoying but also a really good test of my backup/restore process.

I expected it to be faster. I have restored multi-GB sized chunks of data
using this backup solution with no speed issues. This, however, is crawling. I have 70gb restored after ~7 hours time.

#Linux #Geek #Geekery
