Ryan Waldon<p>The RCA CT-100 was one of the first colour television sets commercially available to consumers. Introduced in 1954 for about $1000.<br>The 15 inch picture tube produced a viewable image which measured 11.5 inches wide. The chassis used 36 vacuum tubes and over 150 feet of wiring. The CT-100 suffered from image quality problems. Today, only about 150 of the over 4000 units built survive.
