ConnectionWithWonderGas mantles get very hot. There are still British Gas employees whose job it is to light Londons remaining 200-odd working gas lamps. This Is My GlasgowA former gas lamp (now converted to an electric one) on North Gate to Victoria Park in the west of Glasgow.
