For the for the 1st time since last yr I spent the WHOLE day yesterday puttering/planning in my garden.

IT..WAS...GLORIOUS!!!

Nothing like digging in the dirt to take your mind off, well, everything.

Highly recommend it .

My tulips gettin' ready

Photograph of a small group of partially opened tulips behind a small group of out of focus daffodils. Tulips have long green leaves as well as a long, slender, stiff green stems. The flower extends upward from the stem and has 6 overlapping petals (3 total) interior to overlapping sepals (3 total). This variety has pink petals. This variety of daffodil has six pale yellow, kite-shaped petals that radiate from an orange-yellow central corona or trumpet which is essentially a cup structure with a frilly ridge at the opening. Since the petals are behind the corona, when viewing the bloom head on it looks like six triangles surrounding a frilly cup. The interior contains yellow stamens with yellow anthers and a yellow pistil with a yellow stigma.
