Porfirio Einem Kollegen helfe ich remote dabei, auf seinem MacBook #fedora35 mit #Gnome41 zum Laufen zu bringen.
Bis auf copy&paste mit der Tastatur (ctrl+c & ctrl+v tun es nicht) sieht es gut aus. Ich habe 5x nachgefragt. Es betrifft nicht nur die Befehlszeile (man kaufe ein "Shift"), sondern das ganze System.
Das Problem scheint lange bekannt, aber die Lösung? Manche sagen, die selinux-policy müsse auf permissive gesetzt werden, andere lasten wayland den Fehler an. Was ist die einfachste Lösung?

@thindil I timed a boot from power off: 21s to the end of the BIOS check then 30s to boot Fedora 35. Not too bad for a bargain hardware machine.
I just installed #Fedora35 2 days ago, and I was playing with the #BtrFS #subvolumes and #Snapper (in fact still I am).
And I gotta say this, the system #snapshots and #rollbacks have never been easier.
Okay, there is no native package available in #fedora35 for Discord, and Matrix(Element).
Debian/Ubuntu has a lot of support packages available.
Anyone have any tips for comfortably using an ultra wide monitor in place of multiple individual monitors? I’m running #Fedora 35.
I've already #deleteFacebook and not even have Instagram installed. But get rid off of WhatsApp and GMail it is most difficult for me, because of some work relationships. But I'm really planning to.

Fedora 35 che lo ritengo per molti versi superiore e più piacevole rispetto a #macOS di cui non ne sento la mancanza. Quindi la mia scelta è stata di non complicarmi la vita inutilmente e non fare #dualboot. Risparmi spazio e allunghi la vita al drive SSD.
