The #European Commission has launched the selection process for European TEN-T Coordinators for the Atlantic, Baltic Sea–Black Sea–Aegean Sea, and Rhine–Danube Corridors, aiming to appoint them by summer 2025. Coordinators will support the implementation of #EU #Transport Corridors, chair stakeholder groups, and report on progress. Candidates must meet strict criteria, including expertise in transport, major project financing and evaluation, and EU policymaking. They must also hold EU nationality, have no conflicts of interest, and demonstrate ethical integrity and language proficiency. Gender and nationality balance across all 11 Coordinator roles will be considered. The Commission, via DG MOVE, will shortlist candidates, consult Member States and EU bodies, and make final appointments through formal Commission Decisions.
