@shapr @kenjen You absolutely must write a blog post.
Actually you should propose to give a talk at #EmacsConf! Totally serious.

@mms
sure, canonically the live chat is a hangout in lambdamoo virtual reality but I'll look at #emacsconf or somewhere on libera if you want to contribute there instead. (000UTC Wednesday, Tuesday evening in the Americas).

@nosrednayduj
yes I too am discovering this. So I never got an updated key to sdf yet o_o Any chance you could come hang out in #emacsconf on libera.chat irc?
@kentpitman
https://opfab.github.io/ OperatorFabric seems really interesting for #emacsconf like events.
@sacha
Thanks for including @corwin's interview!
By the way, can we make secret plans to help @shizamura, whom was (finally) on today discover how much emacs can help with their semantic web ish PhD. I swear we had a bunch of talks at #emacsconf about that.

I started looking into the Galène videoconference server for #OrgMeetup, #EmacsConf, and other events. It was pretty easy to get working and I can connect to it from Google Chrome, but I couldn't connect to it from Firefox in a snap (can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://...:8443/ws). I followed the instructions at https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/04/how-to-install-firefox-deb-apt-ubuntu-22-04 , and the non-Snap version of Firefox works. I remember running into websocket issues in Firefox when I was panicking about getting BigBlueButton working for EmacsConf. It still feels a little uncool to say, well, people might just have to change browsers.
Finally found the time to watch the recorded #emacsconf talks, the Beguiling Emacs one’s my favourite so far, that seems like a future to be excited about!
@publicvoit awww, thanks! I'd love to learn from other people's post-event reflections (#emacsconf or other).

Interesting insight on organizing a #community #event even if you've never heard about Emacs.
High level of #automation.
